Healthcare Initiatives: Healing with Compassion

We recognize that the well-being of a child is the foundation for a flourishing life. Through targeted grants, the Pushkin Legacy has directly supported critical healthcare needs for vulnerable children.

Children's Hospital and Orphanage #15 – St. Petersburg

Grant Provided: Installation of a new children’s playground, provision of an EEG machine, ultrasound machine, other vital medical equipment, and funding for full roof replacement to create a safer, healthier environment.

#32 Psych-Neurological Children's Hospital – Moscow

Grant Provided: Acquisition of an EEG machine, offering advanced diagnostic tools to better care for children facing neurological challenges.

Mytischi Boarding School for Musically Gifted Children – Moscow Region

Grant Provided: Musical instruments to empower the dreams of gifted students, providing them the tools to cultivate their artistic talents.

Nevskaya Dubrovka Orphanage – St. Petersburg Region

Grant Provided: Computers and educational materials to open new pathways for learning, creativity, and opportunity for children without family support.

Bykovo Orphanage – Moscow Region

Grant Provided: Essential supplies to improve daily life and education opportunities for orphaned children in need of stability and care.

Cultural Preservation: Celebrating Heritage and Unity

Culture breathes life into our shared humanity. In celebrating traditions and history, we strengthen the bonds between people and generations.

  • Maslenitsa Public Celebration February 14, 2010 – Konstantinovsky Palace (Presidential Residence in Strelny)
Event Supported: Sponsorship and organization of a vibrant Maslenitsa festival with over 10,000 attendees, reviving one of Russia’s most beloved traditions which had not been celebrated publickly over 90 years.

Grants for Pushkin Heritage and Education

Since its founding, the Pushkin Legacy has proudly dedicated significant resources to the preservation of Alexander Pushkin’s literary heritage and the advancement of Russian cultural education.

Working closely with Russia’s leading literary and cultural institutions, we have helped safeguard original manuscripts, restore historic sites, support vital academic research, and bring Pushkin’s spirit to new generations through publications, exhibitions, and multimedia projects.

National Pushkin Museum – St. Petersburg

  • Art in the Mirror of Poetry exhibition, 2002.
  • Illustrated Complete Museum Guidebook (with English summary), 2003.

  • Documentary Film "Lyceum after Lyceum", chronicling Lyceum graduates, 2005.
  • Catalogue of Books from Vsevolod Krylov’s Collection, 2006.
  • Publication: As Day Flies after Day (National Museum Highlights, 1999–2006).
  • 8-Year Museum Report (published in both Russian and English), 2007.
  • Book Publication: "Alexander Pushkin and the Mansion at Moika 12" by Galina Sedova, 2008.

Institute of Russian Literature (Pushkinsky Dom) – St. Petersburg

  • Installation of Archival Bookcases for original Pushkin manuscripts, 2000.
  • Support for Pushkin Conference in Crimea, 2002.

  • Grant for photo equipment acquisition, 2003.
  • Pushkin Literature Scholarship in partnership with Tartu University, 2003.
  • Digital CD production of the Boldino Manuscripts (1830) and Boldino Drawings, 2004–2005.
