Healthcare Initiatives: Healing with Compassion

We recognize that the well-being of a child is the foundation for a flourishing life. Through targeted grants, the Pushkin Legacy has directly supported critical healthcare needs for vulnerable children.

Orphanage #32 Psych-Neurological Children's Hospital – Moscow

Grant Provided: Acquisition of an EEG machine, offering advanced diagnostic tools to better care for children facing neurological challenges.

Mytischi Boarding School for Musically Gifted Children – Moscow Region

Grant Provided: Acquisition and donation of a full array of new musical instruments for the children.

Children's Hospital and Orphanage #15 – St. Petersburg

Grant Provided: Reclaim the outdoor territory around the Orphanage (after 100 years of total neglect) and build a new and safe children’s playground.

Nevskaya Dubrovka Orphanage – St. Petersburg Region

Grant Provided: Computers and educational materials to open new pathways for learning, creativity, and opportunity for children without family support.

Bykovo Orphanage – Moscow Region

Grant Provided: Essential supplies to improve daily life and education opportunities for orphaned children in need of stability and care.

Cultural Preservation: Celebrating Heritage and Unity

Culture breathes life into our shared humanity. In celebrating traditions and history, we strengthen the bonds between people and generations.

  • Maslenitsa Public Celebration, February 14, 2010 – Konstantinovsky Palace (Presidential Residence in Strelny)
Event Supported: Sponsorship and organization of a vibrant Maslenitsa festival with over 10,000 attendees, reviving one of Russia’s most beloved traditions which had not been celebrated publicly for over 90 years.
  • Pushkin Golden Autumn Ball – Annual Gala and Charity Fundraising event, 2000 to 2008
The cultural event of the season, held in the venerable Throne Room at Catherine’s Palace in the town of Pushkin.

Grants for Pushkin Heritage and Education

Since its founding, the Pushkin Legacy has proudly dedicated significant resources to the preservation of Alexander Pushkin’s literary heritage and the advancement of cultural education.

Working closely with Russia’s leading literary and cultural institutions, Pushkin Legacy has helped safeguard original manuscripts, restore historic sites, support vital academic research, and bring Pushkin’s spirit to new generations through publications, exhibitions, and multimedia projects.
